Swami Dharmanand Ji
Swami Dharmanand Ji (“Swamiji”), a Director of the Adhyatma Sadhna Kendra, Delhi, India, is an expert of Preksha Meditation, to promote a positive, healthy lifestyle and inspiring many people by his example to practice amity and to support each other.

Born in 1935, Swami Dharmanand Ji completed his B.Com in 1956 from Calcutta University and Post Graduate in Science of Living, Preksha Meditation & Yoga from Jain Vishwa Bharati Institute (Deemed University) in Rajasthan, India.

Swamiji’s started learning Yoga in 1955, while a student at the University, receiving guidance and training from the following Gurus and Teachers:

His Holiness Anuvrat Anushasta Late Acharya Shri Tulsi
His Holiness Late Acharya Shri Mahapragya
His Holiness Late Swami Yogeshawarananda of Rishikesh
His Holiness Swami Naryan Giri of Pandukeshwar (Himalaya).


Twenty years later in 1975, Swamiji worked as Director at Tulsi Adhyatma, Nidam, the main Preksha Dhayan Centre at Ladnun (Rajasthan) from 1975 to 1985. In 1986, shifting his work to become Director at Adhyatma Sadhana Kendra, New Delhi, India.


Since 1975, Swamiji has travelled across India and around the world, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, U.S.A, Canada, U.K., Holland, Belgium and France, to train and conduct lectures and camps on yoga, meditation, color therapy and chromotherapy, training teachers. In addition, Swamiji has extensively participated and coordinated research projects undertaken by All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi, India to cure heart diseases, asthma, and diabetes. Swami Dharmanand Ji has trained Army personnel and civilians in Preksha Meditation who went to Antartic in the year 1993 and also been to Leh (Himalaya) for the project “Effect of Yoga at the High Altitude” by DIPAS in 1995.
